I give these speakers a zero if I could. After extensive research, I bought these speakers. The first couple seems to be new, but when it is connected to both my MacBook and iMac, it produces no sound, even if they are on. I have to be exchanged for another pair, thinking it was just a small problem immediately. It was not. Not just a replacement pair will not work, but they seem to be used! I do not know whether this is the fault of Amazon or the manufacturer, but still, I lost a lot of time and energy on useless junk. So I bought these speakers at Circuit City the other day. They had a huge going-out-of-business, bankruptcy, liquidation sale.
